HIGH-VALUE DRUG SECURITY DEVICES.
For over 50 years, IMI has manufactured high-quality medical devices that meet the unique needs
of compounding pharmacies and enhance medication safety from pharmacy to patient.
About Us
International Medical Industries (IMI) has been at the forefront of medical device innovation for over 50 years. Specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of both sterile and non-sterile single-use medical devices, IMI has become synonymous with excellence and reliability in the healthcare industry. Our primary focus lies in providing cutting-edge tamper-evident technologies, which serve as a crucial deterrent against drug diversion and misuse. These technologies are integral components of healthcare systems’ comprehensive drug security programs, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
IMI is widely recognized as the market leader in tamper-evident technology, with our flagship product, Prep-Lock™ Tamper Evident Caps for I.V. Syringes, leading the industry. These caps seal the distal end of syringes securely, safeguarding medication integrity during transit from the pharmacy to the patient’s bedside. In addition to our flagship product, IMI offers a diverse range of sterile single-use devices tailored for pharmacy use. This includes Prep-Lock™ Tamper Evident Additive Port Caps for I.V. bags, Prep-Seal™ Luer Lock Caps essential closures for syringes, Prep-Fill™ fluid transfer connectors, and the Rx-Tract and Rx-Vent lines of specialty needles.
All IMI products are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA at our state-of-the-art facility in Pompano Beach, FL. Committed to maintaining the highest quality standards, IMI is registered with the FDA and holds ISO 13485 certification, ensuring that our products meet rigorous regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations.
